Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2015 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work A Bouquet of Roses and other Flowers in a Glass Goblet with a Chinese Lacquer Box and a Nautilus Cup on a Red Velvet draped Table by Jean-Baptiste Robie. The price achieved of USD 25,000.00 (€ 22,640.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jean-Baptiste Robie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roses, anenomes and peonies, strawberries, a silver-gilt ostrich egg cup and a German gold-gilt tankard on a draped table in April 2000 with an auction result of GBP 54,050.00 (€ 92,531.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Bouquet of Roses and other Flowers in a Glass Goblet with a Chinese Lacquer Box and a Nautilus Cup on a Red Velvet draped Table von Jean-Baptiste Robie zur Versteigerung kam.
