Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of A Gentleman, Bust Length, In A Blue Gold-Lined Waistcoat And White Chemise by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2018. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 26,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask, which sold at auction in October 2001 for USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman, Bust Length, In A Blue Gold-Lined Waistcoat And White Chemise von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau kam im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 26.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask beobachtet, die im Oktober 2001 für USD 76.375,00 (€ 84.927,17) versteigert wurde.
