Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of Isabelle-Agneta-Élizabeth De Zuylen, Madame De Charrière De Penthaz by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau for USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,767.94). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Drawings at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of Isabelle-Agneta-Élizabeth De Zuylen, Madame De Charrière De Penthaz von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau für USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.767,94) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Drawings bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 84.927,17).
