However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask, which sold at auction in October 2001 for USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).

Die Arbeit Portrait of a woman with pink ribbons von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau kam im Juli 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 32.938,01) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask beobachtet, die im Oktober 2001 für USD 76.375,00 (€ 84.927,17) versteigert wurde.
