Auction result well in line with expectations
In February last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction One Hundred Portraits for a Century, which included the work Portrait D'Une Élégante À La Robe Aux Nœuds Bleus Tenant Une Rose by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,800.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean-Baptiste Perronneau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask in October 2001 with an auction result of USD 76,375.00 (€ 84,927.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion One Hundred Portraits for a Century durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait D'Une Élégante À La Robe Aux Nœuds Bleus Tenant Une Rose von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.800,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean-Baptiste Perronneau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a Lady, half length, wearing a pink dress with a lace border, holding a mask im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 76.375,00 (€ 84.927,17).
