Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Javier Marín was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 34,375.00 (€ 25,551.92). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Javier Marín - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Torso de hombre amarillo, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 100,800.00 (€ 95,238.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Javier Marín kam im November 2011 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 34.375,00 (€ 25.551,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Javier Marín mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Torso de hombre amarillo beobachtet, die im September diesen Jahres für USD 100.800,00 (€ 95.238,10) versteigert wurde.
