Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 53,125.00 (€ 42,711.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Javier Marín - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Torso de hombre amarillo, which sold at auction in September this year for USD 100,800.00 (€ 95,238.10).
