Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Monocrom Vi - 1990 by Jaume Plensa was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 1,312.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jaume Plensa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Twins I and II in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,130,000.00 (€ 1,025,501.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Monocrom Vi - 1990 von Jaume Plensa kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.312,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jaume Plensa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Twins I and II im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.130.000,00 (€ 1.025.501,41).
