The price achieved of USD 237,500.00 (€ 209,750.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Jasper Francis Cropsey have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2017 the work Indian Summer On The Susquehanna was auctioned for USD 432,500.00 (€ 384,923.46).
