Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mechocana by Jason Martin was auctioned at Christies in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 35,000.00 (€ 41,465.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jason Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Origin, which sold at auction in July this year for GBP 114,300.00 (€ 133,353.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Mechocana von Jason Martin kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 35.000,00 (€ 41.465,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jason Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Origin beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für GBP 114.300,00 (€ 133.353,46) versteigert wurde.
