In December this year Phillips in London held the auction New Now, which included the work Accara by Jason Martin. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 44,450.00 (€ 51,204.70), 48% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jason Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Origin, which sold at auction in July this year for GBP 114,300.00 (€ 133,353.46).

Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Accara von Jason Martin zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 44.450,00 (€ 51.204,70) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Jason Martin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Origin beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für GBP 114.300,00 (€ 133.353,46) versteigert wurde.
