Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Patrol by Jason Martin was auctioned at Phillips in 7 - in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 15,240.00 (€ 13,776.89) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Jason Martin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Origin in July this year with an auction result of GBP 114,300.00 (€ 133,353.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Patrol von Jason Martin kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 15.240,00 (€ 13.776,89) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jason Martin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Origin im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.300,00 (€ 133.353,46).
