In July this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art, which included the work Study #8 by Jason Boyd Kinsella. The »bidding war« ended at USD 95,250.00 (€ 86,433.76), 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jason Boyd Kinsella have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Thaws in May last year with an auction result of USD 441,000.00 (€ 410,958.90).

Im Juli diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study #8 von Jason Boyd Kinsella zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 95.250,00 (€ 86.433,76) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jason Boyd Kinsella auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Thaws im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 441.000,00 (€ 410.958,90).
