Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Sothebys in Online held the auction Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Vase Before A Window, 1996 by Janet Fish. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,350.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Janet Fish have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Five Bertolli Bottles in July last year with an auction result of USD 239,400.00 (€ 234,659.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Sothebys in Online die Auktion Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vase Before A Window, 1996 von Janet Fish zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.350,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Janet Fish auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Five Bertolli Bottles im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 234.659,87).
