Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of USD 226,800.00 (€ 193,548.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jane Peterson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gloucester Harbor--Late Afternoon, which sold at auction in November 2006 for USD 520,000.00 (€ 392,127.29).
