Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with asparagus, an orange and an egg on a plate by Jan Wittenberg was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2001. The price achieved of EUR 11,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Jan Wittenberg have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2000 the work A still life with white rhodondendrons in a small blue vase was auctioned for NLG 46,808.00 (€ 21,928.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with asparagus, an orange and an egg on a plate von Jan Wittenberg kam im Dezember 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Wittenberg konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2000 die Arbeit A still life with white rhodondendrons in a small blue vase für NLG 46.808,00 (€ 21.928,80) versteigert.
