This artwork by Jan Wijnants achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2020. In the Old Master Paintings auction, the work A Landscape With Trees And Foliage Beside The Edge Of A Pond sold for GBP 8,190.00 (€ 9,030.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Wijnants achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape With Sportsmen Resting By A Path in December 2011 with an auction result of GBP 75,650.00 (€ 90,601.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Wijnants erzielte im September 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Paintings wurde die Arbeit A Landscape With Trees And Foliage Beside The Edge Of A Pond für GBP 8.190,00 (€ 9.030,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Wijnants erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape With Sportsmen Resting By A Path im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 75.650,00 (€ 90.601,56).
