Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jan Wijnants could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale auction, the work A Landscape With Cattle Being Driven Along A Country Road, A Single Peak In The Distance changed hands for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 26,207.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Wijnants - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape With Sportsmen Resting By A Path, which sold at auction in December 2011 for GBP 75,650.00 (€ 90,601.56).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
