Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Het kleine Veer; cows resting on the shore of the river IJssel by Jan Voerman Sr. was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Voerman Sr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 42,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Het kleine Veer; cows resting on the shore of the river IJssel von Jan Voerman Sr. kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Sr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.250,00.
