This artwork by Jan Voerman Sr. achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2010. In the Impressionist and Modern Art auction, the work Horses in a meadow, A View of Hattem Beyond sold for EUR 15,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Voerman Sr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 42,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Voerman Sr. erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Horses in a meadow, A View of Hattem Beyond für EUR 15.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Sr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 42.250,00 versteigert wurde.
