Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dutch A View Of The River Ijssel Near Hattem by Jan Voerman Sr. was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2009. The price achieved of EUR 7,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Voerman Sr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 42,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dutch A View Of The River Ijssel Near Hattem von Jan Voerman Sr. kam im April 2009 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Sr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.250,00.
