Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A View Of Hattem by Jan Voerman Sr. was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2015. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Voerman Sr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 42,250.00.

Die Arbeit A View Of Hattem von Jan Voerman Sr. kam im November 2015 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Sr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.250,00.
