In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Watering cows along the river IJsel sold for EUR 10,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Voerman Sr. - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar, which sold at auction in April 2008 for EUR 42,250.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Jan Voerman Sr. erzielte im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wurde die Arbeit Watering cows along the river IJsel für EUR 10.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jan Voerman Sr. mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit East Indian Cress In A Blue Ginger Jar beobachtet, die im April 2008 für EUR 42.250,00 versteigert wurde.
