Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Farms In A Landscape by Jan van Herwijnen for EUR 1,440.00. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Herwijnen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baboe in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 27,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Farms In A Landscape von Jan van Herwijnen für EUR 1.440,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van Herwijnen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baboe im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.400,00.
