Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Coucou!' by Jan van Beers was sold in the PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2003. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,031.50. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Beers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Après le bal in March last year with an auction result of GBP 319,000.00 (€ 378,210.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Coucou!' von Jan van Beers wurde im Juli 2003 in der Auktion PICTURES, WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.031,50 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van Beers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Après le bal im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 319.000,00 (€ 378.210,40).
