The work Le Fou Du Roi by Jan van Beers was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2010. It achieved a price of EUR 6,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan van Beers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Après le bal in March last year with an auction result of GBP 319,000.00 (€ 378,210.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 56 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Le Fou Du Roi von Jan van Beers kam im Juni 2010 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan van Beers erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Après le bal im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 319.000,00 (€ 378.210,40).
