Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Acrobate by Jan Jordens was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2000. Here, the upper estimate of NLG 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for NLG 8,776.50 (€ 4,111.65). Other works by Jan Jordens have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 6,000.00 in May 2007 for the work Dutch Compositie.

Die Arbeit Acrobate von Jan Jordens kam im November 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von NLG 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für NLG 8.776,50 (€ 4.111,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jan Jordens haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 im Mai 2007 für die Arbeit Dutch Compositie beobachtet.
