Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A winter's day with figures loading a horse carriage by Jan Jacob Spohler was sold in the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 8,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Jacob Spohler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A winter landscape with numerous skaters on a frozen waterway, Dordrecht in the distance in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 156,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A winter's day with figures loading a horse carriage von Jan Jacob Spohler wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 8.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Jacob Spohler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A winter landscape with numerous skaters on a frozen waterway, Dordrecht in the distance im April 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 156.000,00.
