In November 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A Winter Landscape With Activities On The Ice by Jan Jacob Spohler. Admittedly, works by Jan Jacob Spohler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter landscape with numerous skaters on a frozen waterway, Dordrecht in the distance in April 2006 with an auction result of EUR 156,000.00.

Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Winter Landscape With Activities On The Ice von Jan Jacob Spohler zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 30.000,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
