Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists, which included the work Figures on a frozen river in a Dutch town by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,650.00 (€ 8,981.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A winter's day with skaters on the ice and windmills in the distance, which sold at auction in October 2008 for EUR 26,200.00.

Im November 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art, including works from L'École de Paris, The Jewish Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit Figures on a frozen river in a Dutch town von Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.650,00 (€ 8.981,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00.
