Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A winter landscape with figures on the ice by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler was sold in the Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2015. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter's day with skaters on the ice and windmills in the distance in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 26,200.00.

Die Arbeit A winter landscape with figures on the ice von Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter's day with skaters on the ice and windmills in the distance im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.200,00.
