Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter's day with skaters on the ice and windmills in the distance in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 26,200.00.
