Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A frozen canal with a skater, figures walking to the right side; and A washer woman by a canal before a tower by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A winter's day with skaters on the ice and windmills in the distance in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 26,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A frozen canal with a skater, figures walking to the right side; and A washer woman by a canal before a tower von Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Jacob Coenraad Spohler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A winter's day with skaters on the ice and windmills in the distance im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.200,00.
