It changed hands for a price of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 177,367.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Davidsz. de Heem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A banquet still life in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,766,000.00 (€ 6,441,135.90).
