Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Still Life With A Peeled Lemon, Oyster And A Silver Plate With Grapes, Plums And A Façon-De-Venise Glass Filled With White Wine, All On A Wooden Table Partially Draped With A Green Cloth by Jan Davidsz. de Heem. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 212,500.00 (€ 237,117.37). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Davidsz. de Heem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A banquet still life in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,766,000.00 (€ 6,441,135.90).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still Life With A Peeled Lemon, Oyster And A Silver Plate With Grapes, Plums And A Façon-De-Venise Glass Filled With White Wine, All On A Wooden Table Partially Draped With A Green Cloth von Jan Davidsz. de Heem zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 212.500,00 (€ 237.117,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Davidsz. de Heem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A banquet still life im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.766.000,00 (€ 6.441.135,90).
