Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 668,750.00 (€ 749,815.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600,000.00 – 800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jan Davidsz. de Heem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A banquet still life in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,766,000.00 (€ 6,441,135.90).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 668.750,00 (€ 749.815,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 600.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jan Davidsz. de Heem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A banquet still life im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.766.000,00 (€ 6.441.135,90).
