In the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction, the work Still Life With A Roemer On Its Side, Two Pewter Plates Adorned With A Partly-Peeled Lemon, An Oyster And A Bread Roll, All Arranged On A Wooden Table-Top sold for GBP 337,250.00 (€ 380,429.86) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Davidsz. de Heem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A banquet still life in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,766,000.00 (€ 6,441,135.90).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jan Davidsz. de Heem erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A banquet still life im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.766.000,00 (€ 6.441.135,90).
