The work Still Life With A Roemer, A Peeled Lemon, Bread, An Oyster And Chestnuts On A Pewter Dish, Grapes, A Taper And An Orange On A Ledge Partly Draped With A White Cloth by Jan Davidsz. de Heem was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2008. The price achieved of GBP 97,250.00 (€ 123,557.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jan Davidsz. de Heem achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A banquet still life in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 5,766,000.00 (€ 6,441,135.90).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 97.250,00 (€ 123.557,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden.
