Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Before Dark by Jammie Holmes was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 52,920.00 (€ 62,695.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jammie Holmes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work First Birthday, which sold at auction in May 2021 for HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 158,561.59).
