Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March last year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Artist Self Portrait by Jammie Holmes. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 104,571.03). Other works by Jammie Holmes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 1,500,000.00 (€ 158,561.59) in May 2021 for the work First Birthday.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artist Self Portrait von Jammie Holmes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 104.571,03) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jammie Holmes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.500.000,00 (€ 158.561,59) im Mai 2021 für die Arbeit First Birthday beobachtet.
