Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sex Pistols: Pretty Vacant (Black & White Colourway) by Jamie Reid was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Bonhams in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 637.50 (€ 760.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamie Reid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 in October last year with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,882.89).
