Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work God Save Damien Hirst, circa 2008 by Jamie Reid was auctioned at Bonhams in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 701.25 (€ 797.81). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamie Reid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 in October last year with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,882.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit God Save Damien Hirst, circa 2008 von Jamie Reid kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 701,25 (€ 797,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamie Reid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 11.882,89).
