Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Sex Pistols: God Save The Queen Postage Stamp (Blue & Silver) by Jamie Reid. The price achieved of GBP 892.50 (€ 1,064.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jamie Reid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 in October last year with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,882.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 892,50 (€ 1.064,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jamie Reid erzielen.
