Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sex Pistols: God Save The Queen (Red, Yellow & Green Colourway) by Jamie Reid was auctioned at Bonhams in London in April last year. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,520.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Jamie Reid have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Learn from the past, Live in the present, Look to the future (Blue), 2011 in October last year with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 11,882.89).
