Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Bonhams in Edinburgh held the auction The Scottish Sale, which included the work Still life of roses by James Stuart Park. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,912.50 (€ 2,265.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Stuart Park achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yellow and pink roses in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 18,522.50 (€ 27,053.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams in Edinburgh die Auktion The Scottish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life of roses von James Stuart Park zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.912,50 (€ 2.265,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Stuart Park erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yellow and pink roses im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.522,50 (€ 27.053,80).
