It achieved a price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,675.74), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by James Stuart Park have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yellow and pink roses in October 2003 with an auction result of GBP 18,522.50 (€ 27,053.80).

Die Arbeit Daffodils von James Stuart Park wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.675,74) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von James Stuart Park auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yellow and pink roses im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.522,50 (€ 27.053,80).
