Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work In darkness Let me dwell by James Rielly was auctioned at Lempertz in Cologne in June 2017. Here, the estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,100.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Rielly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Random Acts of Kindness in February 2002 with an auction result of GBP 21,737.50 (€ 35,473.45).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit In darkness Let me dwell von James Rielly kam im Juni 2017 bei Lempertz in Köln zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.100,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Rielly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Random Acts of Kindness im Februar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.737,50 (€ 35.473,45).
