It changed hands for a price of AUD 7,767.50 (€ 4,508.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Alfred Turner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On Guard in May 2004 with an auction result of AUD 101,575.00 (€ 59,347.00).
