It achieved a price of INR 1,375,000.00 (€ 16,165.90), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 72%. Admittedly, works by Jagannath Panda have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 133,000.00 (€ 84,150.59).

Die Arbeit Untitled (The Trunk) von Jagannath Panda wurde im Dezember 2013 in der Auktion South Asian Art bei Christies in Mumbai versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von INR 1.375.000,00 (€ 16.165,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jagannath Panda auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 84.150,59).
