Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Roof Top View From Chartres Cathedral by Jacques Lagrange for USD 625.00 (€ 459.76). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jacques Lagrange achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arbres Et Maisons - 1954 in March 2018 with an auction result of EUR 5,070.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Roof Top View From Chartres Cathedral von Jacques Lagrange für USD 625,00 (€ 459,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jacques Lagrange erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arbres Et Maisons - 1954 im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.070,00.
