Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Femmoiselle by Jacques Hérold. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,900.00 (€ 15,952.06) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Jacques Hérold have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2005 the work Le Grand Transparent was auctioned for EUR 22,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Femmoiselle von Jacques Hérold zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.900,00 (€ 15.952,06) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Jacques Hérold konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juli 2005 die Arbeit Le Grand Transparent für EUR 22.200,00 versteigert.
